Description: An upright, tall, open branched legume common on a variety of sites including roadsides and disturbed areas. Is browsed by white-tailed deer and sometimes eaten by livestock. Can cause sweet clover poisoning in cattle. Introduced into the U.S. from Europe and Asia. A significant pollen producer for honey bees.
